Bella Rose

My Sweet

Bella Rose, daughter of Dr. Erika Bush, who started a movement to help by inspiring mothers with advice and stories that have children with cerebral palsy

Born at 29 weeks. She spent 6 weeks in the NICU before she graduated (NICU graduation) home. Bella was initially diagnosed with developmental delays due to prematurity.

However, it wasn’t until the age of 3 that I requested to see a different specialist and that is when Bella was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. It was difficult at first to digest the diagnosis given, but I’m grateful she received a diagnosis.

Having a diagnosis gave me insight and it opened the door to treatment and assistance programs. Although the journey has been challenging at times, Bella continues to inspire myself and others through her resilience and her smile.

While there is no cure for cerebral palsy, numerous organizations work to support those living with the disorder.

Donating can help fund research into treatments and therapies, provide support services to those living with cerebral palsy and their families, and raise awareness of the condition. Donations can also help fund advocacy efforts to improve the lives of those with cerebral palsy by ensuring access to education, employment, and healthcare.

No matter how small, every donation can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by cerebral palsy.
